Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 2 -After an early breakfast you will depart at 0730. You head through the bustling city of Arusha and out towards Karatu. You travel through the beautiful Masai open grassland and rolling hills. While driving you will see Masai herding their cattle and goats. You will arrive at the Ngorongoro gate where your driver guide will pay for the park fees and then you you descend into the Ngorongoro crater with packed lunches. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience. Lunch is served near a small lake filled with hippos. You then continue game viewing. After late lunch, you ascend and drive to Ndutu plains game driving. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Safari Lodge.

Serengeti

Day 4 - After breakfast at the camp, you will begin a full day game drive in the Serengeti. This park covers an area of 14,763 square kilometers and has a range of different habitats including open grasslands, marshes, forests and kopjes. You will spend the day moving around the different habitats looking for animals. There is a wide variety of bird life. The sheer size of this park and its amazing changing scenery makes this a day to remember. After a picnic lunch, you then depart to Ndutu area game driving. Later in the evening, you will be driven to Ndutu Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ruaha

Day 6 - Today you will either spend the whole day game driving or have an early morning game drives in Ruaha National Park, then later drive to the lodge for hot lunch before enjoying and evening game drive. All activities at Mdonya Old River Lodge are organized by the Lodge.  You will share the vehicle for game drives with other clients. Dinner and overnight at Mdonya Old River Lodge.
