Day 1
Tsavo
Day 1: Drive Mombasa (or Nairobi) - Tsavo East National Park After early breakfast at your hotel in Mombasa, depart for Tsavo East National park. You arrive in time for a short game drive in the park as you head to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
Day 2
Tsavo
Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park You will depart Tsavo East and drive into Tsavo West National Park, enjoying a safari drive along the way, arriving in time for lunch at Kilaguni Lodge. An afternoon game is planned until sunset. Tsavo West National Park covers 20,808sq km (8,034sq miles), The Park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion, leopard and hyena and a herd of over 3,500 elephants. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
Day 3
Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Tsavo
Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Amboseli National Park Breakfast at the lodge, then depart for Amboseli National Park. This Park is famous for the big herds of elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The snow capped peak sometimes is covered by clouds. Lunch is served and you have some time to relax or enjoy the sun heated swimming pool before leaving for another game drive this afternoon. We will be back in time for warm shower or may be a drink before dinner. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Meals and overnight at Amboseli AA Lodge.
Day 4
Amboseli
Day 4: Day in Amboseli National Park Enjoy a full day of safaris in Amboseli National park. Amboseli is big game country: elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe. Two game runs are planned today, both which will introduce you to the intense beauty and drama that fill each day here. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun, in a setting so lushly beautiful. We return to the camp/ lodge or cozy Camp for a steaming bath, cocktails and a sumptuous dinner.
Day 5
Amboseli
Day 5: Amboseli National Park – Mt. Kenya Area Depart Amboseli by road after breakfast .Your destination today is the Mt Kenya area. You arrive in time for late lunch. And some rest, enjoy an aftenoon game drive in Solio Ranch till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Watch Lodge.
Day 6
Samburu
Day 6: Mt Kenya - Samburu Breakfast at the lodge. Then depart drivinig onwards via Isiolo to Samburu/Shaba National Reserve. Lunch at the Ashnil Samburu Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.
Day 7
Samburu
Day 7: Day in Samburu Morning and late afternoon game drives in Reserve, or full day drives with packed lunches. All meals and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.
Day 8
Samburu
Day 8: Drive from Samburu to Aberdares After the 2 nights in Samburu, leave for Aberdare, heading for a tree-hotel experience in the Aberdares. set off for the Ark tree lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet, and the elusive bongo. Wildlife can be observed from different levels – and from outside where you can see, hear and smell everything and inside where you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy. You can put in a request to be awakened during the night if your favorite animals show up. A herd of Elephants might be just feet away and if you are lucky, a Leopard or large male Lion might put in an appearance.
Day 9
Lake Nakuru
Day 9: Aberdare National park – Lake Nakuru National Park Today you travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird's species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the white Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner and Overnight at the Flamingo Hill Tented Lodge.
Day 10
Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara | Serengeti
Day 10: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest's migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles. Accommodation at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 11
Day 11: Maasai Mara Game Reserve The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Accommodation at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 12
Nairobi
Day 12: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi Morning game drives to savour the beauty of the park, return to lodge for breakfast. After, depart by road for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Depending on your final arrangements, you may decide to fly back to Mombasa, or fly out of kenya from Nairobi. We transfer you to the airport.
