Itinerary

Day 1

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi

Day 1 Depart your safari from Nairobi at 1000hrs with your packed light lunch. The safari is a 230kms distance which will take you approximately 4hrs 44minutes, meaning the arrival time will be around 500hrs. After arrival, you will check in to Amboseli Serena safari lodge where you will send your remaining part of the day and the night and also have dinner there. Amboseli national park is located in Loitoktok District, rift valley province of Kenya. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro

Day 2 After early morning breakfast, you will be required to be at the agreed meeting point to be able to start the tour on time. A tour van will drop you at the same agreed point. After arrival, you will trek through the Amboseli national park for bird watching which is an interesting activity. You will have a professional guide who will take you through the park explaining to u the different kinds of birds and answering all your questions. Trekking in the morning helps you watch the birds well as they are many and active during early morning. Also, while watching the birds, you will have a panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro where the dew is being turned into vapor by the morning sun. In the mid morning time, you will be able to meet up with the Maasai people who are the natives of the land and they have a rich culture. You will be given the history of the Maasai people by you guide and also be able to watch them perform some of their traditional songs. Afterwards, you will have an afternoon game drive through the park where you will see the big five and also other creatures in the park. The professional tour guide will take you through the game drive. In the evening, you will be driven back for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Nairobi

Day 3 Early morning breakfast, check-out and depart at about 0800 hrs for Nairobi, stopover in Namanga town for lunch. Arrive in Nairobi in the evening to enjoy a city tour and dinner at Hotel then transferred to the airport for your homebound flight.
