Safari summary
The Greater Linynati region of Botswana is synonymous with big game, large herds of buffalo and elephant roam the area. The Selinda Explorers camp is an intimate camp situated on the banks of the Selinda Spillway.
Duba Plains hosts probably the most unique and regular animal showcase in Africa. The wildlife film makers, Derek and Beverley Joubert made the most out of the area when they filmed their documentary showcasing the extraordinary interaction between lion and buffalo where the predators spend their time sleeping with their prey before hunting them.
This tour shows you the best of the areas concerned with a fantastic selection of activities to choose from.
It is possible to extend or reduce the numbers of nights in either camp, together with combining them with other locations and an extension to Zimbabwe or Zambia for Vic Falls.

Itinerary
Day 1
Days 1 to 3 3 nights at Selinda Explorers Camp From Maun airport you will be flown by light aircraft to Selinda Explorers Camp. Here you will find a camp seemingly tucked into the middle of the real African bush. Sitting on the banks of the Selinda Spillway, the camp is quite unique in its design, almost Bedouin in its styling it offers an open and free flowing feeling. The Selinda area of the Greater Linyanti region is known for its game and the activities such as canoeing, walking and game drives take full advantage of this.
Day 4
Days 4 and 5 2 nights Duba Plains Duba Plains plays host to the remarkable display of the concession's lion and buffalo. For many years now, several prides of lion have tussled over the rights to their almost captive prey. Seemingly being herded like sheep, the buffalo play a dangerous daily game of life with their nemesis. The camp is a great quality bush camp which offers all the quality one would expect of a lodge in Botswana.
Day 6
Day 6 After your mornings activities and after a short light aircraft flight back to Maun, you'll connect with your onward journey. If you choose an extension to Vic Falls, your transfers and accommodation will be arranged with Safari Lifestyles... see below.
