Day 1: Arrival and Hotel Transfer

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your experienced driver-guide. After a brief introduction to your upcoming safari, you will be transferred to your luxury hotel in Kigali for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Travel to Nyungwe Forest Nat

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, approximately four hours from Kigali. The journey takes you through Rwanda's stunning hilly countryside, past lush tea plantations and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy short stopovers for photographs and refreshments along the way. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyung

Following an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking etiquette. Accompanied by an experienced ranger guide, venture into the ancient rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzee troops. Trekking can take anywhere from one to six hours depending on the chimps' location. Upon finding them, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these fascinating primates as they feed, play, and interact.

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes Nation

After breakfast, begin your journey to Volcanoes National Park, home to the legendary mountain gorillas. The drive offers spectacular views of the Virunga mountain range, a chain of dormant volcanoes straddling the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoe

This is the day you have been waiting for. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from your ranger guides. Enter the lush, misty forest and trek along sometimes steep and slippery trails in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take between one and six hours depending on the family's movements. When you finally encounter them, you will spend a life-changing hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat

Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking and I

After breakfast, set out for golden monkey tracking, a delightful activity that takes you into the bamboo forests on the slopes of the volcanoes. These playful, strikingly colored primates are often easier to track than gorillas, and you will spend an hour observing their energetic acrobatics as they leap between bamboo stalks. In the afternoon, visit Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village, a community-led initiative that celebrates Rwanda's cultural heritage.

Day 7: Travel to Akagera National P

After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park, located in eastern Rwanda along the Tanzanian border. The journey takes you through Kigali and into the rolling savannah landscapes that contrast beautifully with the mountainous terrain you have left behind. Day 8: Morning Game Drive and Boat
