This multi-day tour will visit Kenya’s best safari parks. Travel to the Great Rift Valley, Masai Mara Game Reserve, Lake Nakuru for bird watching, and Amboseli national park with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend 2 nights at Amboseli National Park, then to Lake Nakuru for 1 night and then to Masai Mara for 2 nights, returning to Nairobi on the sixth day.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

Your tour starts with pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara. Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river.

Day 3: Masai Mara - L. Nakuru

After breakfast, you will check-out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at the Lake Nakuru where you will check-in and have lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a game drive around the shores of Lake Nakuru. This game drive will provide the best bird-watching and viewing of black and white rhino. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge.

Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar

Day 4: L. Nakuru - Amboseli

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit the Lake Nakuru National Park. You will proceed to Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 5: Amboseli Full Day

You will rise early and take off for a morning game drive with some amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit. A packed lunch will be provided during the drive. An optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast. This tour reveals the singing and dancing of the Masai that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. You will also get a glimpse into their homes and social structure. Later in the evening, you will return to the camp.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 6: Amboseli - Nairobi

You will wake for early morning game drive and this early morning is one of the best times to see Mt Kilimanjaro. An early morning light reveal the Mountain Kilimanjaro turned into dark hue of purple and its snow into an ethereal pink and the sight of the mountain high above herds of elephants crossing the Amboseli plains is a timeless African image. You head back to the camp for breakfast and later pack your bags and then drive back to Nairobi.
