Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe

Arrive through Entebbe International Airport, and you will be picked up by your 10 Days African Gorilla & Wildlife Safari driver guide who will transfer you to your overnight accommodation. For early arrival, you can undertake a short city excursion and visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center, Botanical gardens, the markets, or relax at the Imperial Beach and admire beautiful sunset. Main Destination: Kampala (City) Accommodation: Dolphin Suites (Mid-range hotel)

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls

Pick up from overnight accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe. You will be transferred to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda. It proudly harbors Uganda`s endangered Rhinos. On arrival, you will be briefed and thereafter begin your on-foot Rhino tracking. Depending on how long this activity takes you will proceed with to arrive at your accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park.

Pakuba Safari Lodge (Mid-range)

Day 3: Morning game drive and

With packed breakfast, you will do an early morning game drive exploring the different tracks in the park. Expect to encounter numerous games including Elephants, the Rothschild giraffe, wild cats, birds and hippos. Depending on what you see and how long this drive takes, you will return to the lodge for your lunch. After Lunch, you will do a boat cruise on the Nile; expecting to numerous wildlife i.e. from birds to reptiles, you will be dropped at the bottom of the falls;

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National

After breakfast and with lunch enroute, you will embark on a journey to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park; is a national park in Western Uganda, protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 square kilometers in size and is located between 1,100 meters to 1,600 meters in elevation; this forest is known for harboring primates e.g. the Chimpanzees & black and . On arrival you will check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Kibale Forest Lodge (Mid-Range)

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park for briefing and thereafter you will begin you Chimpanzee trekking on the 10 Days African Gorilla & Wildlife Safari. Depending on how long the trek takes, you will return to the lodge for your lunch. After Lunch, you will spend the entire afternoon at leisure.

Kibale Forest Lodge (Mid-Range)

Day 6: Swamp or community walk

Early morning after breakfast, you will head for a swamp walk in Bigodi wetland. Bigodi wetland sanctuary harbors numerous species of butterflies, iconic birds such as the great blue Turacos, small animals like squirrels, primates like olive baboons and Vervet monkeys, and mammals like the swamp dweller – Sitatunga antelope, etc. Depending on how long this will take, you will return to your lodge for lunch.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

After breakfast, you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park; through the legendary Fort portal and scenic views of towering Rwenzori Mountains. Queen Elizabeth National Park: Occupying an area of 1,978 km², this National Park is located on the foothills of Rwenzori Mountains and is home to several savannah species of flora and fauna. It was established in 1952 and named after Queen Elizabeth II.

Day 8: Morning game drive

Early morning, you will head straight to the gate; here you will meet with your 10 Days African Gorilla & Wildlife Safari ranger who will guide you on your wildlife game drive in the park. Depending on how long the game drive takes, you will head to the breakfast area overlooking one of the salt lakes in the park for a Rolex meal. After breakfast, you will return to the lodge, check out and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Dinner and night stay at the lodge.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking

Wake up at 6:00am for a warm cup of African coffee, prepare for your long-awaited trek. At 7:00am, hike to the visitors briefing area, which is a few minutes’ drive from your place of accommodation. Meet with the head ranger and other visitors for a general briefing on the dos and don’ts while conducting this memorable trek. The trek starts at 8.30am with simple forest hikes through designated trails and depending on the gorilla family, trekking experience can last for about 2-8 hours.

Day 10: Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast in Bwindi, leave at leisure via Mbarara-Kabale highway; pass Igongo cultural center for lunch and the equator for memorable photos. Depart through Entebbe airport later in the evening.
