Itinerary
Day 1 : NAIROBI - SAMBURU
Samburu
0700hrs Pickup from Nairobi airport / Nairobi hotel Proceed through the central highlands of Kenya with views of coffee, tea, sisal, pineapple and subsistence farming activities. Local African homesteads dot the red soiled slopes of this region. View the Mount Kenya with its snow – capped peaks along the safari route. Afternoon wildlife viewing drive at the Samburu, Shaba and buffalo springs reserves.

Day 2 : SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Samburu
The day shall be spent with game viewing drives / relaxing interludes at the Samburu game reserve. Game viewing drives in this dry and scenic game reserve are concentrated along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river. This is where most wildlife is found.

Day 3 : SAMBURU - OLPEJETA
Mount Kenya
Early game viewing drive at the Samburu game reserve. Later depart for the cooler Mount Kenya and Laikipia region to the Olpejeta wildlife sanctuary. Afternoon game viewing drives including opportunities to see Rhino and Chimpanzee. What you may see / do around Ol Pejeta….. Elephants, Tree hyrax, white tailed mongoose, black fronted dicker, mole rat, bushbuck, water buck, Elands, rhino, chimpanzee

Day 4 : OL PEJETA - ABERDARES
Mount Kenya
Morning wildlife viewing drives at Ol Pejeta Sanctuary for Aberdares National Park. Later proceed to the Aberdare National park Arrive Aberdares for lunch. Transfer to your tree hotel. Afternoon relaxation at your Tree lodge as you watch wildlife in the nearby waterhole.

Day 5 : ABERDARE - LAKE NAKURU
Lake Nakuru
Later proceed to the lake Nakuru national park. There shall be a stop to view the scenic Thompson falls at Nyahururu. The drive via farming country and homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment edge is scenic. Afternoon bird watching and game viewing drive. The lake Nakuru national park is home to hundreds of bird species including a few flamingos and other bird species. The lake also hosts the black and white rhino population in its sanctuary.

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU - LAKE NAIVASHA
Lake Nakuru
After early morning game drive and a relaxed breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for locals and foreigners alike. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure - the lodge we book at the lake offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs. You may also choose to book a one hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost

Day 7: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA
Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, the safari now heads to Masai Mara. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the ''Big Five'' animals but the ''Big Nine'' as well. Return to your tented camp by 6.30pm

Day 08: full day in Maasai mara
Masai Mara
You will be taken on two gamedrives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your gamedrive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days.

Day 09: Return to Nairobi
Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast and check out. Proceed with return road transfer back to Nairobi with a brief morning game drive en-route. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon [typically by 3pm]. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home
