Transfer to Murchison fall national
Murchison Falls
On the first day of your 10-day primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and brief you about the journey ahead. You will then drive to Murchison Falls National Park through the scenic countryside and Luweero. Lunch will be taken en route. Upon arrival, visit the Top of the Falls where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging 45 meters below. Later proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning game drive and boat cruise
Murchison Falls
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park in search of giraffes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and many birds along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, home to the highest diversity of primates in East Africa. Enjoy scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and crater lakes around Fort Portal. In the afternoon, you may take an optional walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to see birds and primates before heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trek and Queen Elizabeth

After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Walk through the forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates such as red-tailed monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Spend up to one hour observing the chimps in their natural habitat. After the trek, return for lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel between Lake Edward and Lake George, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many bird species along the shores.

Forest walk and Ishasaha

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast then get up and transfer to Maragambo forest for forest walk with possibilities of seeing the rock pythons, bird species and bat caves. Later you will head to Ishasha for a safari searching for tree-climbing lions.

Transfer to Bwindi Forest National
Bwindi Impenetrable
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector, where you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy scenic views of tea and banana plantations along the way. Arrive at Bwindi, home of the mountain gorillas and rich biodiversity, then check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing before starting your gorilla trek. The trek may take several hours as you search for a habituated gorilla family. Spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy a community walk before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi for evening relaxation.

After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park through the scenic hills of Kabale, passing lush countryside and banana plantations. The park is known for its large herds of zebras, as well as giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, elands, warthogs, and many bird species. Arrive, check in at your lodge, and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Early in the morning on the last day of your safari, have breakfast and head for an early morning game drive in park viewing zebras the most popular inhabitants of the park, buffaloes, elands, water bucks, antelopes, hippos, giraffes, warthogs and several bird species. Later head to the lodge, check out and transfer to Kampala with a stopover at the equator for lunch later leave and transfer to Kampala and to Entebbe for your flight back home.
