DAY 1: ARRIVE IN TANZANIA

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) at any time. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver-guide and transferred privately to your lodge in Mwanza. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in Mwanza. Meal plan: Half Board.

DAY 2: MWANZA TO CENTRAL SERENGETI

Serengeti

After breakfast at your lodge, depart for the Serengeti Plains via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en-route game drive. After a picnic lunch, continue with game viewing in the Central Serengeti (Seronera area) or follow the migration route. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp. Meal plan: Full Board.

DAY 3: FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE

Serengeti

Depending on the season and the movement of the herds, you may see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp. Meal plan: Full Board.

DAY 4: ANOTHER FULL-DAY GAME DRIVE

Serengeti

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The migration may appear as a long chain stretching approximately 40 km toward the southwestern part of the park. Lunch will be taken around midday, followed by continued game viewing. An estimated 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles, and 200,000 zebras share the short grass plains. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp. Meal plan: Full Board.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, followed by a picnic lunch en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site where Louis and Mary Leakey discovered some of the earliest known human ancestral remains. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Kirurumu Tented Camp. DAY 6: GAME DRIVE IN NGORONGORO

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, descend over 600 meters (2,000 feet) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour. Explore forested areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the soda lake often visited by flamingos, and the open savannah where lions hunt. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater. Dinner and overnight at Karatu Marera Valley Lodge. Meal plan: Full Board.
