Today the tour will proceed to the Savuti area. Overnight will be at Savute Safari Lodge which lies on the banks of the dry Savuti channel where the lodge peers out from amongst the beauty of gnarled acacia camel thorn trees. The beauty of this area is created by the silhouettes of the many dead trees which relied on sustenance from the water supply of past years. A mix of open savannahs,dry woodlands, and wetlands remote location usually accessed via 4 x 4 vehicles often passing through Mababe Gate.Savuti is world famous for its high concentration of predators, particularly lions spotted hyenas and large herds of elephants.

From Savute Safari Lodge you will travel to Kings Pool Camp. Kings Pool Camp is located in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, a private reserve in the Linyanti / Savuti Channel area in the northern part of Botswana. The source of the Savuti Channel is within this private reserve. The camp overlooks the oxbow-shaped Kings Pool Lagoon and the Linyanti River to the north.
