After an early breakfast, begin the scenic 8–10 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, passing through lush tea plantations and rolling hills. Alternatively, a short domestic flight is available for those wishing to save travel time. Upon arrival, check in at your forest lodge, attend a brief orientation with the staff, and relax as you prepare for tomorrow’s life-changing trek
