Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or from the airport at 8:00am and taken to Tarangire National Park. Once there, you will begin your game drive in a park renowned for its enormous baobab trees, diverse wildlife, and numerous bird species. Tarangire is particularly famous for having one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. After exploring the park, you will be driven to Africa Safari Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, depart the lodge for a final game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Spot diverse wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and predators like lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and possibly leopards. Enjoy flamingos near the lakes, have a packed lunch by the hippo pool, then return to Arusha or the airport
