Nyerere (Selous)

After an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam, drive to Nyerere National Park with scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in the park with a packed lunch. Nyerere National Park is renowned for its vast wilderness, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and large populations of hippos and crocodiles along the Rufiji River. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Mikumi

After breakfast, depart Nyerere and drive to Mikumi National Park. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive. Mikumi is known for its open plains, often compared to the Serengeti, and offers excellent wildlife viewing, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and large herds of buffaloes. After the game drive, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mikumi National Park –Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, when wildlife is most active. After the game drive, begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the afternoon and marking the end of the safari.
