Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin a game drive through the park’s open savannah, seasonal swamps, and iconic baobab trees. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators such as lions and leopards.
