Arrival in Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by an African Big Cats Safaris representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Overnight will be at Mtoni River Lodge.

After breakfast, depart your Arusha hotel for Arusha National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and scenery featured in the movie Hatari. Visit Ngurdoto Crater and spot giraffes, zebras, buffalo, baboons, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Enjoy a picnic lunch, then return to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Mtoni River Lodge.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, named for the Tarangire River, the region’s dry-season lifeline.
