Arrival in Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by an African Big Cats Safaris representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Mtoni River Lodge.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we’ll head to Tarangire National Park, named for the Tarangire River, the region’s lifeline in the dry season. The park features dense vegetation, baobabs, and acacia woodlands, and hosts Tanzania’s highest elephant densities. Lions, leopards, and numerous bird species thrive here. After lunch, we drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight at Eileen's Trees Inn.

After an early breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way.
