Arrival in Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which caters for domestic flights, you will be met by African Big Cats Safaris representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Mtoni River Lodge.

After breakfast, visit Arusha National Park for game drives and guided walking safaris with an armed ranger. The park is a scenic gem dominated by Mount Meru and features craters, grasslands, and the Momella Lakes. Wildlife includes buffalo, zebras, and elephants, while birdlife is excellent, especially November to April. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Mtoni River Lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, the main water source during the dry season. The park features elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and large elephant families gathering along the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators such as lions and leopards. After lunch and a game drive, continue to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park on extensive game drives. The park is renowned for its high concentration of elephants, diverse wildlife, and the greatest number of breeding bird species in the world. Lunch will be served during the safari, followed by more game viewing before returning to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After lunch, continue to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Early morning, enjoy a guided cultural visit to the Hadzabe tribe at Lake Eyasi to learn about their hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Join a hunting demonstration and discover their unique click language. You will also visit the Datoga blacksmith tribe, known for handcrafted ornaments. Return to the lodge for brunch, then visit Lake Eyasi in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay are at Marera Lodge.
