This short yet rewarding safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and a drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Enjoy an extensive game drive through the park with a picnic lunch inside the park before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

On Day 2, depart early for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive on the crater floor, where you have excellent chances of spotting the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino, alongside flamingos, hippos, and large prides of lions. After lunch, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable safari memories.

After an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for a rewarding game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge in the cool highlands near the Ngorongoro area.
