This two day tour start and end in Kigali which is a closer drive to Bwindi National park than it is from Kampala, The first day will travell from Kigali to Uganda Via Cyanika or Gatuna Border, then track gorillas on the second day and return to Kigali the same day after Gorilla Trekking. The Bwindi Park is a biodiverse, mountainous area in southwest Uganda. It’s home to world’s remaining mountain gorillas, who feed on roots, leaves and fruits from the park’s many tree and fern species.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable

Our apes and wildlife safari driver will meet you at your hotel in Kigali and transfer you to Kisoro town. The four-hour journey to Kisoro will include crossing the border. You will need an East African Visa, which is obtainable from the first East African country you visit (Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda participate in the East African Visa Program). Along the way, you will have spectacular views of the terraces of the Ugandan and Rwandan mountains.

You will wake up early this morning and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the upcoming gorilla trek. Trekking the mountain gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take two to six hours, but it is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will share interesting facts about flora, fauna, and the lifestyle of the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas, then return to the lodge
