Safari summary
Explore the Pearl of Africa in 7 days! For this tour package, you will visit three national parks. Your first destination will be Kibale National Park where you will track the chimpanzees, man's closest cousins, in their natural habitat. Experience some cultural encounters with the Isunga community upon arrival before tracking the chimps the following morning. After tracking the chimps, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon. Check in at your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Go for the morning game drive very early in the morning and enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. This presents a more relaxed opportunity to view wildlife and birdlife at the shores. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the following morning. This may take you about five hours. Upon arrival check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as you recharge for your gorilla adventure the following morning at 8:00am. After gorilla trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch and rest or go for an optional community tour if you still have some energy left. You could opt for a boat trip to the punishment island where girls who got pregnant before marriage were abandoned and left to die. You will also visit the only inhabited island on the lake. Guided community walks are also on offer at your lodge. Return to Entebbe for your departure flight the following day. We recommend having your departure flight at night or the following day to leave room for any unexpected delays that could lead you to miss your flight.
