Itinerary

Day 1

Masai Mara | Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/ residence early in the morning and then we drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. After lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge, we relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive to explore the reserve which has a wide variety of wildlife species including elephants, spotted/ striped hyenas, black-backed jackals, giraffes, elands, topis, hippopotamus, hartebeests, waterbucks, crocodiles, buffalos and warthogs. We return to Mara Sopa Lodge at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and overnight stay. (L/D).

Day 2

Masai Mara | Serengeti

Day 2: Full Day Safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve After breakfast, we depart for full day exploration of the Masai Mara with picnic lunch. The reserve is famous for its exceptional population of the big cats (lions, leopards & cheetahs) and the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania to the Masai Mara (July – October). Optional activities include an early morning hot air balloon safari or a visit to a Maasai people cultural village. We return to Mara Sopa Lodge in the evening for a shower, dinner and overnight stay. (B/L/D).

Day 3

Masai Mara

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi After breakfast, we depart for a final game drive in the Masai Mara before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Drop off at your hotel/ residence or at the airport depending on your arrangements. (B/L).
