Distance: 50km Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to Tulia Lodge for dinner and overnight FB. (40 km, 30 minutes) Dinner and overnight at Tulia Hotel: Bed, Dinner and Breakfast included.

Early the morning you will have breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Tarangire National park. This park in Tanzanian third largest national park and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The park is famous with its big Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire national park and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park.

We will proceed for a full day game drive viewing the great migration at Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck.

Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck.

In the morning, we will have another game drive in Serengeti National Park. Come afternoon, we proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Olduvai Gorge museum, a famous archaeological location in East Africa. At Laetoli, located 45 km south of Olduvai gorge, you will find hominin footprints preserved in volcanic rock that dates back 3.6 million years ago and represent some of the earliest signs of mankind in the world.

After breakfast you can go shopping in town or relax at the lodge (time permitting). You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
