Lake Nakuru is renowned for its soda lake, which attracts vast flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and numerous other bird species, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise. The park is also famous for its terrestrial animals, including excellent sightings of rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, and giraffes.
The final day begins with an early wake-up call for tea or coffee before departing at 6:30 a.m. for an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This time of day is considered perfect for observing animals as they start their daily routines, particularly in wildlife-rich areas. After the drive, you'll return to the lodge for a hearty late breakfast and check out. The final part of the journey is the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving around 3:00 p.m. for drop-off at your hotel, marking the conclusion of your safari adventure.
