This 8-day safari provides an incredible cross-border experience, connecting Kenya's premier reserve, the Masai Mara, with Tanzania's iconic parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire, with a stop at Lake Victoria.
The journey begins in Nairobi, where you are picked up and immediately travel to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. The drive offers a scenic photo stop overlooking the Great Rift Valley before you arrive for lunch. The afternoon features your first game drive in the Mara, known for its diverse wildlife and high density of predators. The following day is spent entirely on game drives across the Mara's vast plains, actively searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). A highlight is a picnic lunch by the Mara River, a prime location for spotting hippos, crocodiles, and potentially witnessing the dramatic Great Migration between July and October.

The safari transitions into Tanzania on Day 3. After a final early morning game drive in the Mara, you depart for the Isebania border crossing. Once customs and immigration formalities are complete, you meet your Tanzanian guide and continue to the tranquil shores of Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest freshwater lake, where you spend the afternoon relaxing or visiting a local fishing village.

From Lake Victoria, the adventure continues into Serengeti National Park. After a morning drive, you enter the park, which shares the same vast ecosystem as the Mara. The next two days are dedicated to game drives across the Serengeti’s 'endless plains.' Depending on the time of year, you may be fully immersed in the spectacle of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebra move in search of fresh grazing. The park is equally famous for its large lion prides, swift cheetahs, and diverse plains game.

The journey proceeds to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, featuring a direct descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This geological marvel offers an unforgettable wildlife experience in one of the world's most unique ecosystems, home to an incredible concentration of animals, including the rare black rhino. After ascending the crater rim, you are rewarded with breathtaking sunset views.

The final full day takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for its magnificent, massive baobab trees and its huge elephant herds. An afternoon game drive in Tarangire provides excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, and various antelope species. The entire journey concludes after a short morning game drive in Tarangire, with an optional drop-off in Arusha or a return trip to Nairobi via the Namanga border.
