Arusha to Lake Manyara

Arusha

Depart from Arusha around 7:30–8:00 AM, enjoying the scenic 2.5-hour drive through Mto wa Mbu. Upon arrival, embark on a 4x4 game drive to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, baboons, and, if lucky, the rare tree-climbing lions. Break for a picnic lunch within the park before continuing the afternoon game drive to visit the hippo pool and spot flamingos and other birds. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
