What to expect on a Ndutu migration safari!
The Calving Season: This is the main draw from approximately January to March, when massive herds arrive to give birth. Around 8,000 calves may be born each day during the peak period.
Predator Action: The abundance of newborn animals makes this an ideal time to see predators in action, with high chances of observing hunts by lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Arusha - Southern Serengeti - Ndutu
Begin your adventure by depart from Arusha to Southern Serengeti Ndutu for wildlife sightings paying special attention to the great migration. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive activity before reaching the camp. The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebra and other animals gathering together for calving season. Wildebeests give birth at this time.

Today wake up early and enjoy the great migration in Southern Serengeti Ndutu with the option of Balloon then in the afternoon, depart to Ngorongoro for your overnight at the accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This gives you a chance to descend inside the Crater the next day in the early morning and see many animals when they are still more active.
