Your safari begins as the Jossec Safaris team picks you up from your Nairobi hotel for a short briefing about your adventure ahead. You’ll then depart in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep towards the northern wilderness of Samburu National Reserve. The scenic drive takes you through Kenya’s stunning highlands and semi-arid landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at Samburu Sopa Lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first evening game drive. Look out for the “Samburu Special Five”

Wake up to the sound of birds and embark on a full-day game drive across Samburu’s rugged beauty. The Ewaso Nyiro River, the park’s lifeline, attracts a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions and crocodiles basking on the riverbanks. Your experienced guide from Jossec Safaris will help you spot elusive cats and explain the fascinating adaptations of animals to this dry region. After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of East Africa’s most successful wildlife conservancies. This private sanctuary is home to the largest black rhino population in East Africa and the world’s last two remaining northern white rhinos. Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, then enjoy an afternoon game drive to explore the conservancy’s diverse habitats. You may also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary.

Enjoy an early morning drive through the conservancy before heading south towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The scenic journey passes through the Great Rift Valley, with stunning viewpoints along the way. After lunch , set out for an afternoon game drive around the lake. Nakuru is famous for its large flocks of pink flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. It’s also a sanctuary for endangered white and black rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and Rothschild’s giraffes.

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and diverse birdlife.
