Nairobi – Amboseli (240 km - 4hrs)

0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi airport / Nairobi hotel The scenic drive is via open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribes men and their cattle. You arrive in time for a welcome shower, refreshments and lunch. An afternoon game viewing drive. Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro snow -capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well. There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive.

Proceed to the Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the Lake Naivasha in time for lunch Afternoon boat safari at the Lake Naivasha where you view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake. Later proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. Overnight at your Lake Naivasha safari lodge / tented camp.

We shall take bikes and cycle to the nearby Hell's gate national park where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game. Later a short 1 hour drive will take us to the Lake Nakuru national park. Birdlife abounds with flamingoes seen in their thousands together with pelicans and other bird species. The lake Nakuru national park is home to the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffe and many more. Overnight at your lake Nakuru safari lodge / tented camp.

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit the lake Nakuru national park. Proceed to the Masai mara game reserve. Arrive Masai Mara and proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October). Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ Tented camp
