Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha early in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day on a game drive, spotting large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, and lions among the iconic baobab-studded plains. Take in the peaceful landscapes and enjoy the unique wildlife experience. In the late afternoon, leave Tarangire and drive to Karatu for overnight stay at a lodge or camp near the town.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy an exciting game drive across the crater floor, seeing elephants, buffalo, zebras, lions, and possibly the rare black rhino. Take in the breathtaking scenery and observe hippos or flamingos near the lakes. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to your lodge in Karatu for the night.
