Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park Safari
• Morning: Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive (approx. 2–3 hrs) to Tarangire National Park.
• Midday: Begin game drive inside Tarangire, spotting elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and over 400 bird species. Picnic lunch in the park.
• Afternoon: Continue exploring different sections of the park, including baobab-dotted landscapes and the Tarangire River valley.
• Evening: Exit the park and drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Enjoy dinner and overnight in a 4-star luxury setting overlooking the Rift Valley.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Excursion
• Early Morning: Breakfast at the lodge, then depart for Ngorongoro. Descend 600m into the crater for a full-day game drive. Spot the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino — along with hippos, flamingos, and much more.
• Midday: Picnic lunch at the hippo poolside in the crater.
• Afternoon: Continue game drive through grasslands, lakes, and acacia forests. Later in the day, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha.
• Evening: Drop-off at your hotel, marking the end of your safari.
