You will embark on this unforgettable 2-days safari adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National park ¸ Uganda’s largest conservation area. It is situated in the southwestern part of Uganda¸ in the Kigezi Highlands¸ and is characterized by a dense tropical rainforest. The park host over 400 individual Mountain gorillas¸ 120 mammal species and 320 bird species and is divided into four section¸ each with its own unique character and attractions for example Buhoma Sector North of the park¸ Ruhija Sector East of the park¸ Rushaga Sector south of the park and Nkuringo Sector southwest of park¸ creating the thunderous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The highlight of your trip will include sightings of different bird species for example the Bat-tailed Trogon and the Malachite Kingfish among other species. You will visit the gorilla guardians’ village and briefly live like indigenous Ugandans.

After an early breakfast. then set off from your hotel as you embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. On your way you make a stopover at the equator for the equator experience. Have endroute lunch and continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the afternoon. Head for a brief nature walk to the local Batwa community and interact with them. They are one of the oldest indigenous tribes in Africa. proceed to the lodge for check-in¸ relaxation and overnight.

Have breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head in the forest and then trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending to the movement of the gorillas. After finding the Gorillas in Bwindi¸ you will be given only 1 hour to enjoy these creatures¸ study them¸ take photos. After the trek you may go back to your lodge to have lunch and rest. After proceed to Kampala.
