If you arrive early in the morning, you’ll head straight to Tarangire National Park—just about a 2-hour scenic drive away. For late arrivals, we suggest spending the night in Arusha and beginning your safari fresh the next day. Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, the Tarangire River is the lifeline of the park, especially in the dry season, drawing all kinds of animals—lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, gazelles, and even the elusive tree-climbing python

Rise early for breakfast and depart by 6:30 AM—it’s worth it! Early mornings offer the best light and the highest chance of seeing active wildlife. Your first stop is the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. After a picnic lunch, your journey continues toward the iconic Serengeti National Park
