Itinerary
Arrival in Arusha
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your safari driver-guide and transferred in a private vehicle to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to rest. In the evening, your guide will brief you on the safari ahead, including highlights such as Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, and Lake Natron, setting the stage for your adventure starting the next morning.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park –
Tarangire
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and more than 400 bird species. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Karatu – Ngorongoro – Serengeti
Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descend 600 meters into the crater for a thrilling game drive, spotting rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos in one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, drive to Serengeti National Park and enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge.

Spend the morning game driving in the Serengeti plains, then head to the remote Lobo area, known for its rugged landscapes, big cats, and seasonal wildebeest migration (depending on travel time). This region offers fewer crowds and authentic wilderness encounters. Overnight in Lobo, Serengeti (mid-range tented camp).

Serengeti Lobo – Lake Natron
After breakfast, drive towards Lake Natron, one of Tanzania’s most unique safari destinations. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Rift Valley and Maasai villages. In the afternoon, take a guided walk to explore the shores of Lake Natron, famous for flamingos and dramatic volcanic landscapes, including Ol Doinyo Lengai (the “Mountain of God”). Overnight in Lake Natron (mid-range lodge or tented camp).

Lake Natron – Arusha
In the morning, you can opt for a short hike to a nearby waterfall or enjoy birdwatching along the alkaline lake. Later, drive back to Arusha with picnic lunch on the way. Depending on your departure schedule, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
