Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On this day, your driver-guide will pick you up from either the airport or hotel in Kigali. After briefing you about the trip, you'll pass by the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you'll learn about the anti-human tragedy that befell the people of Rwanda in 1994. After that, you'll proceed to Volcanoes National Park, where you'll check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight upon arrival.

Gorilla trekking and back to Kigali

On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast. You'll then head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules. After the briefing, you'll form a group of 8 and be assigned a guide who will lead you to the forest in search of the gorillas, accompanied by 2 rangers. After finding the gorillas, you'll spend an hour in their presence, monitoring their behavior and taking pictures. After that, you'll return to Kigali to end the tour.
