Day 1: Kigali Arrival & Leisure

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your luxury hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore Kigali's vibrant craft markets for unique souvenirs. The city is a hub for pottery, carvings, and textiles, offering a chance to practice your haggling skills. The evening is at your leisure to relax and prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2: To Bwindi Forest in Uganda

After a delicious breakfast, you will be driven across the border into Uganda. The journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a scenic one, passing through beautiful countryside and bamboo forests, with stunning views of the Virunga Mountains. This drive, much shorter than from Kampala, allows for more relaxation and enjoyment of the breathtaking landscapes.

Day 3: Gorilla Encounter Day

Today is the absolute highlight of your tour. You will head into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a protected habitat for endangered mountain gorillas. Your trek could last anywhere from two to seven hours. Once located, you will spend an incredible and humbling hour observing a habituated gorilla family. This privileged experience will bring you face-to-face with these majestic creatures in their natural home.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a golden monkey trekking excursion. Afterward, you will begin the drive back to Kigali. Time permitting before your departure, you can visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial. This is a powerful and poignant tribute to the victims, providing vital historical context to a sensitive period in Rwanda's past.
