The Tarangire River is a lifeline for wildlife, especially in the dry season, when hundreds of animals gather along its banks.
The journey continues in Lake Manyara National Park, a park full of surprises despite its smaller size. Here you’ll find pink flamingos along the lakeshore, playful baboon troops, tree-climbing lions resting on branches, and hippos cooling off in the water. Birdwatchers will also love it over 400 bird species have been recorded here.
Instead of staying in lodges, you’ll camp at a public campsite near the parks. Your private safari chef will prepare hot meals, and evenings are spent around the campfire under a starlit African sky, a simple but magical way to experience the bush. Tents, mattresses, and all camping equipment are provided, so you only need to bring your personal essentials.
Because this safari is private, the experience is flexible. You’ll travel at your own pace, stop for photos when you like, and enjoy the personal attention of your guide. It’s an ideal safari for couples, families, or small groups looking for an affordable yet unforgettable taste of Tanzania’s wilderness .This short safari may only cover two days, but the memories elephants in Tarangire, flamingos in Manyara, and nights spent under the stars will stay with you forever.
