Itinerary
Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha (optional). Spend the day relaxing after your journey or explore the local area at your own pace. This day is all about getting settled before your safari begins. Tomorrow morning, you’ll meet your guide and group to start your adventure through some of Tanzania’s most iconic national parks. Accommodation tonight is not included but can be arranged on request.

Arusha to Tarangire Nationl Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart Arusha at 7:30 AM for a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for huge elephant herds and baobab trees, the park offers great wildlife viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a full afternoon game drive. Look for lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and many bird species near the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and head to Karatu, a town near Ngorongoro, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

After an early breakfast, begin the journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy wildlife sightings and vast landscapes along the way. You’ll arrive in the central Serengeti by early afternoon and begin your first game drive. Look for lions, elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, and more. The central region, Seronera, is rich in year-round wildlife. Later, head to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Start the day with a sunrise game drive, ideal for seeing predators like lions and hyenas when they are most active. After breakfast, enjoy one last game drive in Serengeti as you begin your journey back toward Ngorongoro. Watch for wildlife along the way and stop for a picnic lunch. You’ll pass through grasslands and forests within the Conservation Area. Arrive in Karatu by late afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy the cooler highland air. Take in the views before dinner and rest. This is your final overnight before concluding your safari adventure.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a half-day game drive. Spot lions, rhinos, hippos, zebras, and more in this unique ecosystem. After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a short game drive through forest and lakeside habitats, looking for elephants, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha and arrive around 5:00 PM for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
