Arrival in Arusha
You’ll be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha by your safari driver-guide. After a short drive, you’ll check in to your hotel in Arusha, a peaceful town located at the base of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or explore a bit of the town on your own.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its beautiful landscape filled with baobab trees and large numbers of elephants. You’ll enjoy a game drive through the park, looking for animals like lions, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and many kinds of birds. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and head to the nearby highlands town of Karatu, where you’ll rest for the night.

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Look out for big cats, elephants, wildebeest, and more. The open plains make it easier to spot animals from a distance.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, a great time to see animals when they are active. You might spot lions returning from a night hunt or hyenas calling across the plains. After breakfast and one last game drive, you’ll begin your journey back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way. You’ll arrive near the crater rim in the late afternoon for dinner and rest.

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive volcanic caldera with rich wildlife. After a picnic lunch near a waterhole, you’ll drive back to Arusha, where your safari ends. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport depending on your travel plans
