Your safari begins in Nairobi where our friendly Jossec Safaris team greets you and gives a trip briefing. Drive south across open savannah to Amboseli, famous for its elephant families and Kilimanjaro views. After lunch at the lodge and a short rest, head out for a sunset game drive to spot elephants, lions, buffalo, cheetahs, and abundant birdlife before returning for dinner. Begin with a sunrise game drive, the best time to see predators and grazing herds against the dramatic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return for breakfast and leisure time, then set out again in the afternoon for another exciting game drive through the park’s marshes, acacia woodlands, and open plains. After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive through Nairobi before descending into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha and settle in at the resort. In the afternoon, you may opt for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to see hippos and birdlife, plus a gentle guided walk on Crescent Island where giraffes and antelopes roam freely (optional, extra).
