Safari summary
The Machame Route is one of the most scenic and rewarding ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Known as the “Whiskey Route,” it offers excellent acclimatization and diverse landscapes, from lush rainforest to alpine deserts and the icy summit of Uhuru Peak.
This 6-day trek is perfect for adventurers looking for both a challenge and breathtaking scenery. Unlike the Marangu Route, the Machame trek involves camping in tents, giving you a true wilderness experience under the African night sky. With experienced guides, porters, and cooks, you’ll be well taken care of on your way to the Roof of Africa.
