Safari summary
The Lemosho Route is widely considered the most beautiful path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m / 19,341 ft), Africa’s highest peak. It begins on the western side of the mountain and crosses lush rainforest, heath, moorland, alpine desert, and glaciers before reaching the summit. With a longer approach, it allows better acclimatization and higher summit success compared to shorter routes.
This 7-day adventure is ideal for travelers seeking a balance of scenic beauty, acclimatization, and a real chance to conquer “The Roof of Africa.”
