Primate safari to Uganda

After a sumptuous breakfast , we shall transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. In Murchison Falls we visit the top of the falls if time allows. On our way we will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The only place where you can see the white Rhino. It is one of the most beautiful N. parks of Uganda. One of the main attractions is the Nile, with the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile is forced through a narrow gorge and falls 60 meters. Expect to see a plethora of wild life .

Early morning game drive. We visit the top of the falls afterwards. In the afternoon we drive to Hoima town. It is also possible to visit Budongo Forest where we can have a jungle walk to see monkeys and birds (optional).

Kibale

Chimpanzee tracking in the morning or in the afternoon. It is also possible to upgrade this 1-hour tracking to a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, a full day tracking.

Game drive in the morning. Boat trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. TheKazinga Channel is one of the highlights of Uganda and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

Bwindi Impenetrable

Early morning game drive in Ishasha to see the tree climbing lions. Afterwards we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable. On our way we pass through interesting villages and have some breath taking views of the mountains.Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many monkey species. Bwindi is one of the 2 places in the world where you can find Mountain Gorillas! (The lodge in Bwindi we use and driving time to Bwindi depends on the group of gorillas you will track)

Optional activities for today: make a nature walk through the national park, go for a primate or bird watching walk, or visit the local people or pygmies. It is also possible to do a second gorilla tracking on this day.Afterwards transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Lake Mburo

After breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Game drive in the afternoon. It is also possible to make a boat trip on the lake. Night game drive with high chances of seeing leopards.LakeMburo is one of the 2 national parks with zebras and the only national park with impalas in Uganda. There are no elephants and only one male lion, so walking safaris are possible.

After our early morning breakfast, we will head for horseback riding alongside the Nile River or white water rafting or boat to the source of the Nile. Later we will set off from Jinja and we will drive to the airport for return flight.
