Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You'll travel through scenic landscapes and the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest unbroken caldera. Enjoy an extensive game drive on the crater floor, where you can spot a high concentration of wildlife, including the "Big Five". Have a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. Ascend the crater and drive to your accommodation, often located on the crater rim, for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro to Central Serengeti

Morning: After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park. The journey offers "en-route" game viewing opportunities as you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Activities include a guided walk through local farms and banana plantations, visiting a local market, seeing traditional artisans, such as Makonde woodcarvers, sampling local food, and perhaps even the traditional banana beer.
