Transfer to Bwindi NP from Kampala

Bwindi Impenetrable

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by a ML Afrika Safaris and Tours Uganda staff or we pick you up from your hotel. The pickup is early in the morning (after breakfast). There will be several stops to enjoy the scenery and have lunch. Upon arrival in Bwindi, we shall check in at the lodge and proceed to the Batwa community for the cultural adventure about these forest pygmies. You will spend the rest of the day at leisure as you wait for the next day’s adventure.

Trekking with Uganda Gorilla

Bwindi Impenetrable

After an early morning breakfast, head for a briefing where we’ll meet the excellent local guides and trackers who give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. We’ll then hike into the forest to a spot where gorillas were seen the previous night and track from there. Trekking may take anything between 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the family and altitudes which is in excess of 7500 feet. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast, start on the long drive back to Entebbe / Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain apes. Have lunch en route and a stopover at the equator line for experimentation. You’ll be arriving late in the evening to be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport at approximately 6:00 pm hence you have to book an evening flight.
