Itinerary

Transfer to Bwindi from Kigali

Upon arrival at the airport, your diver-guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will be waiting for you at the airport. After welcoming you and greeting you, you'll embark on a brief Kigali city tour. You'll learn about the 1994 Genocide at the Genocide memorial, plus visit the Kimironko Market for an insight into local food, art, and crafts. You'll then head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight.

Early morning, you'll wake up for breakfast. You'll then head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules. After that, you'll head to the forest in search of the mountain gorillas as you look out for other animals, birds, and unique plants in the forest. You'll spend an hour in their presence after finding them, and then head to the Batwa community. Their ancient survival skills like fruit gathering, making fire out of sticks, hunting, their dance will fascinate you.

You'll wake up at ease, have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and embark on a journey back to Kigali. Upon arrival, your guide will say goodbye, and this will mark the end of your 3-Day Uganda gorilla and culture Safari.
