If staying in Buhoma, you’ll land at Kihihi and drive 1.5 hours. If near Lake Mutanda, land at Kisoro and drive 40 minutes. The views are stunning—Lake Mutanda, set below the Virunga Volcanoes, is truly magical. This area, rich in wildlife, is your base for gorilla trekking.
