Transfer To Kibale National Park

Kibale

After an early breakfast, meet your guide and drive to Kibale National Park, passing scenic villages, forests, and tea plantations. Stop in Fort Portal for lunch before continuing to the park. On arrival, enjoy a 2–3-hour guided walk at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for birds like the Great Blue Turaco and primates such as black-and-white colobus monkeys. Afterwards, check in at the lodge, have dinner, and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trekking Experience

Kibale

Wake up early in the morning and prepare for chimpanzee trekking, have breakfast and then you will be transfered to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing. Begin chimpanzee trekking at 8:00 AM. The trek may take 2 -4 hours depending on chimp locations. You may also spot red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, olive baboons, and over 200 bird species. Spend up to 1 hour observing chimpanzees once located. After, you will head on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe with an enroute lunch.
