Embark on an unforgettable journey through four of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the stunning Materuni Falls + Coffee Plantation. You might get decent views of Mt Kilimanjaro this day. Make sure to wear good boots as the trail can be often muddy. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is a good place for a refreshing swim after the hike. 25-minute hike back from the waterfalls afterward you will join a local tribe with whom you will a enjoy delicious Swahili/Chagga lunch. After lunch, you will explore the coffee-making process and get to processes your own cup of coffee. Later you will be driven either back to the hotel in Arusha or to the airport. Arusha to Tarangire NP
Tarangire
Pick up at 8:30 AM from your Arusha hotel and head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Famous for its towering baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, the park hosts some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Expect to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to your camp or lodge for a delicious dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater
Start early with a quick breakfast, then descend into the vast Ngorongoro Crater—the world’s largest volcanic caldera, spanning 260 sq km and over 2,000 feet deep. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, lions, & more. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, begin the steep ascent out of crater. Post the game drive, you will head back to Arusha for overnight.
