Kigali and Transfer to Nyungwe

Nyungwe Forest

Meet and greet your tour guide. At 9:00 AM, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and begin a guided city tour. Explore Kigali Genocide Memorial and visit Kimironko Market, where locals sell fresh produce, crafts, and textiles. Depart for Nyungwe National Park. Enjoy Stop for lunch en route (at your own expense). In the evening, arrive at the Guesthouse, check in, and relax. Enjoy dinner and rest in preparation for chimpanzee trekking and zipline adventure the next day.

Nyungwe Forest

Pick up your packed breakfast at 4:30 AM. Depart for Cyamudongo Forest. At 5:00 AM, enjoy your breakfast before beginning the chimpanzee trekking experience. Guided by expert trackers, you’ll hike rainforest. The trek typically lasts 4–5 hours. After returning to the base, head to a nearby restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). Take time to relax and recharge. In the afternoon an exciting zipline adventure for 2 hours. Return to the Guesthouse. Enjoy dinner, unwind, and rest.

Transfer back to Kigali

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the guesthouse, then check out and begin the scenic drive back to Kigali. Take in the beautiful countryside views along the way, with optional photo or rest stops if desired. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon—your guide will drop you off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport. End of tour.
